Preparing for ECU

The University of Tulsa began installing its game plan on Wednesday for the season opener against East Carolina. The day before, the Hurricane held its final scrimmage of preseason camp. Most of the player evaluation is done and the depth chart is beginning to round itself out, and the scout team is taking on the role of the ECU Pirates.

"We broke camp (on Tuesday). I thought we had a great camp," said Head Coach Todd Graham. "We had a really good scrimmage. I thought G.J. Kinne really did a great job of managing our offense, and I was really pleased with the development of our players.

"Now we're getting our game plan put in, and I thought the guys had a great day today transitioning from a training camp type of practice, going against each other a lot, to going against scouts."
