Mississippi QB has three offers

Mississippi State's quarterback class for 2011 may not be very deep but there is still plenty of talented signal callers in the Magnolia State.

One of the best is Itawamba AHS' Maikhail Miller. The 6-foot-3, 235-pounder already has three scholarship offers and will likely land several more before all is said and done.

"Recruiting is going pretty good," Miller said. "I've got three offers and everybody is talking to me pretty well. UAB, Ole Miss and Memphis have offered."

Another area school that could be next in line to offer is Mississippi State. The Bulldogs came by the Fulton based school last week to watch Miller at spring practice.

"Mississippi State came to my practice last week," Miller said. "I called them after they left and they said that they liked me a lot. Coach (Scott) Sallach came up here and he told me to call Coach Koenning. I tried to call him but he didn't answer."

Miller also paid MSU a visit the spring attending their maroon-white game at Davis Wade Stadium as a part of Super Bulldog Weekend.
