Price adds Big East offer

The Pittsburgh area has been very kind to the Syracuse Orange over the past few years and they are looking in the area again for 2011. One prospect they have their eye on is linebacker Ejuan Price from Woodland Hills.

Price, 6-feet-0, 235 pounds had already had offers in hand from Iowa, Pittsburgh, and West Virginia, and now Syracuse has entered the picture.

"Syracuse offered me last week," Price said. "It was good to get it. I still have to get up there and visit."

Right now the Keystone State product is being recruited by a former Western Pennsylvania star Dan Conley.

"Coach Conley is recruiting me," Price said. "Our relationship is alright we do not talk much right now, but we e-mail."

The young linebacker prospect wanted to make a visit to Syracuse last weekend, but he was unable to because of plans that he had already made.

"I was going to go this past weekend, but I had already made plans to go to West Virginia and I could not back out on that."

Other than West Virginia, Price has been to Pittsburgh a couple times. He spoke about what he liked about both schools.

Pittsburgh: "I have also been to Pittsburgh a few times because that is not too far. The visits there have been real good. I like that everybody knows who you are and they are so friendly."

West Virginia: "The West Virginia trip was good. I had a chance on the trip to speak with a lot of coaches about what their linebacker situation is like."

As far as a commitment goes Price does not have a time frame in mind.
