Ducks add first 2011 commitment
The Ducks are on a roll. On the football field, they are 5-1 and atop the Pac-10. They just landed four-star offensive lineman Nick Rowland a week ago. Now comes momentum on a new front. The Ducks just got their first commitment for the class of 2011, and he is a prime target.
Duck Sports Authority caught up with Tyson Coleman on Tuesday to get his take on some information we had run across. Sure enough, it was solid. DSA asked Coleman if he had committed to the Oregon Ducks.
"Yes sir, I did."
As a sophomore, the 6-foot-2, 200 pound Coleman had 15 touchdowns rushing, five touchdowns receiving and also played outside linebacker. In college, his versatility could allow him to play at multiple positions on either side of the ball.
When DSA spoke with him, the Lake Oswego junior did not have time for a full interview. "I'm sorry sir I'm busy. Could we talk later?"
Of course we can, Tyson Coleman. For now, Duck Sports Authority welcomes the first commitment to the Oregon class of 2011.
