Love weighing his options
Things are certainly falling into place for Aberdeen three-star running back Jamerson Love.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder has always planned on making his commitment during the middle of his senior season but wanted an offer from Mississippi State to consider. That offer came in late July when Love visited the Big Dawgs Camp.
Love has offers from MSU, Southern Miss and Arkansas State on the table but is weighing his options between the Bulldogs and the Golden Eagles. He is being recruited as a running back by USM while State covets him as a cornerback.
"What I've been thinking is for instance if I go to Southern Miss, they've been saying they want me to play running back," Love said. "But they might throw me at corner. I'd rather play corner at Mississippi State. But my heart wants to play running back. I talked to (Dan Mullen) on the phone Thursday morning and he wants me to come there and play. He said that he would do his best to get me the ball whichever way he can."
Love has kept in contact with the Bulldogs of late and has them as his leader.
"I've been talking with Mississippi State a lot lately," Love said. "I haven't talked to Southern Miss in two or three weeks. I'd say they (MSU) is on my top list right now."
Love is off to stellar start to his senior season rushing for 394 yards and five touchdowns and also added 78-yards receiving and another score.
