Ex-Elkins coach boasts starry three

HATTIESBURG, Miss.--Scratch hard enough and you will find a West Virginian in almost any town, city or megalopolis in America.

Such it is that ran across a man who coached football at Elkins High for eight years before he came home to Mississippi to build a 6A power.


"They give me a hard time about West Virginia down here, so when you said you were from West Virginia, I thought my staff was pulling my leg," said Oak Grove coach Nevil Barr at the large school's college-like football facility.
