College coaches swarming to St. Paul's

After serving as an assistant at St. Paul's the last two years, Mike Bates has taken over the head coaching duties this season.

And he's stepped into a very good situation considering St. Paul's is the home to at least four highly recruited 2008 prospects in athlete Mark Barron, wide receiver Destin Hood, running back Ivan Matchett and cornerback Louis Watson.

And it just happens that quarterback A.J. McCarron is considered one of the South's top prospects for the class of 2009.

Barron is probably the most highly recruited of the bunch with a number of offers including Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Florida State and Clemson.
