Bulldogs improve to 5-0

LEXINGTON, Ky., - No. 19/20 Mississippi State kept their flawless record intact at 5-0 with a 27-14 win over Kentucky on Saturday.

The Bulldogs, who have won seven straight games dating back to last season, amassed 427 yards led by Tyler Russell's 23-of-39 afternoon for 269 yards and two touchdowns.

LaDarius Perkins chewed up 115 yards on 25 carries and a touchdown to lead MSU on the ground while Chad Bumphis was the top receiver with nine catches for 104 yards and a score while breaking the school record for career touchdown catches with 18.
