Following a weekend off, No. 19 Mississippi State returns to action this morning taking on Kentucky at 11:21 a.m. CT. seeking their second road win of the year.
The Bulldogs will also be looking to improve to 5-0 on the year for the first time since 1999 and to extend their winning streak to seven games dating back to last season.
The Wildcats have a slight edge in the series holding a 21-18 advantage. MSU claimed the last three games at Commonwealth Stadium as well as overall. UK is 13-7 in the series in Lexington.
In what will be a rare back-to-back trips to the Blue Grass, The Bulldogs brought home a 28-16 win on the road last season. State rolled up 398 yards of offense in that outing with former quarterback Chris Relf rushing for two touchdowns and throwing for another.
