Monday with Mullen

Mississippi State will have one final test before its bye weekend.

The Bulldogs will host first year FBS opponent South Alabama on Saturday and hoping to continue their five game winning streak dating back to last season.

"This game will be a big one for us," said MSU head coach Dan Mullen. "This will be our last game going into a bye week and you want a positive note going into the bye week. That's obviously a big stress because you don't get to play for 14 days so you want to make sure you're leaving on a positive note."
