Thursday Blitz Bitz

First Blitz Bit: Add yet another injury to Mississippi State's growing list on the baseball team. Redshirt freshman utility player Demarcus Henderson suffered a broken finger Tuesday night and will be out for two weeks and will not travel with the team to South Carolina. Senior outfielder Brent Brownlee and sophomore third baseman Daryl Norris both had their knees drained on Wednesday in what John Cohen referred to as a "2-for-1 deal like at Subway". He joked with Brownlee that he needed one of those Subway cards where his 10th visit to the doctor would be free. Sophomore outfielder C.T. Bradford received a shot in his shoulder and did not practice with the team yesterday and will not today.
