Mississippi State reenters conference play today after a two week layoff traveling to take on No. 22 Florida on the road.
The Bulldogs are riding a three-game winning streak for just the second time since 2000 while Florida is on a two-game losing skid, dropping back-to-back games for the second time under Urban Meyer.
The Gators lead the series 33-18-2 including a 19-7-1 record at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and are on a two-game winning streak against MSU. They also have won 21 straight homecoming games, 14 of which have been against SEC opponents.
Bulldog head coach Dan Mullen dropped his first meeting against his former team 29-19 last season in Starkville. Florida held the Bulldogs out of the end zone offensively on that night but threw two interceptions that were brought back for touchdowns by Johnthan Banks.
