2008 (Junior): Played in eight of a possible 12 games during the ’08 campaign . . . Did not play in back-to-back games (Weeks 7-8) against Tennessee and Middle Tennessee, and in the final two games of the year against Arkansas and Ole Miss . . . Made 12 total tackles and a pass deflection as a reserve in the secondary and on special teams . . . Registered two tackles and a pass deflection in the season opener at Louisiana Tech . . . Also credited with a blocked extra-point kick in Ruston . . . Again made a pair of stops in Mississippi State’s win over Southeastern Louisiana in the team’s home opener . . . Registered four tackles and was credited with a partially blocked punt against Auburn in State’s SEC opener . . . It was his second blocked kick of the season, and the second blocked punt by a Bulldog since Clarence McDougal blocked an Ole Miss punt in 2005 . . .
