Florida State picked up its second offensive line commitment for the 2014 class. On the final day of the Jimbo Fisher Football Camp, three-star offensive tackle Ethan Frith told FSU's staff he was ready to be a Seminole.
Frith picked the 'Noles over Louisiana Tech and Mississippi State.
After the final day of the camp on Friday afternoon, Frith told Warchant.com that FSU was his leader, but he wasn't ready to make a commitment. However, that changed after spending more time with the FSU staff. He had a change of heart and could not wait any longer.
"Yes sir, I committed to Florida State. I really feel at home when I'm at FSU and that's just the place I want to be. I didn't know or plan on committing, but being down here again and having that feeling again I knew it was the place for me."
Frith said the happiest man in the room was Rick Trickett .
"He (Trickett) was super excited. He said that I did really good today and was happy I committed today," the 6-foot-7, 300 pound lineman said. "Coach Trickett said I did good at run blocking and that I have flexible hips. He wasn't the biggest factor, but it played a big role. He's a great coach, with a great track record in putting players in the NFL."
Will Frith still leave the door open in case more schools jump on board with offers?
"I'm done. I'm not taking any other visits. I'll probably be back to FSU once they play a game at home," Frith said.
Frith is the No. 11 commitment for Florida State's 2014 recruiting class and the second offensive line commitment.
