LSU has lost 10-straight games and tonight at 8 p.m. Mississippi State hopes to add to that total.
The last two meetings between the Tigers and Bulldogs have been decided by one point with MSU coming out on top both times.
In fact the Bulldogs have won four straight in the series and eight of the last 10 meetings. However LSU still holds the all-time series at 103-96 but State is catching up fast having won 20 of the last 30 contests.
The Bulldogs won the Feb. 5 meeting in Baton Rogue 58-57 behind a double-double performance by sophomore forward Renardo Sidney. Sidney shot 7-of-16 against the Tigers finishing with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Mississippi State comes into tonight's game with a 14-12 overall record including a 6-6 mark in the SEC. The Bulldogs are coming off a 71-58 victory over instate rival Ole Miss on Saturday taking over second place in the Western Division.
