COLUMBUS, Ohio- As he flipped around the edge, Stafon Johnson wasn't looking for the hole any more. He wasn't trying to shake free of any tackles.

He knew he was about to make a whole lot of people happy, and as he crossed the goal line for the decisive score in USC's 18-15 win over Ohio State Saturday, his eyes darted up to the pocket of USC fans in a sea of Buckeye supporters.

Like someone seeing an oasis in the driest of deserts, Johnson knew everything was going to be just fine.

"By that time, my eyes are stands. I was trying to run as fast as I could to the stands. Forget the pylon, I was going to the seats," he said. "There's just so much love there right in front of you."
