Freshmen trying to avoid first-game jitters
With 10-12 true freshmen preparing to play in Saturday's opener, several experienced players reflected back on their first games.
Senior cornerback Walt McFadden hopes the freshmen debuts go better than his.
On the game's opening kickoff, McFadden worked on the kick coverage unit. The play was a touchback and he was supposed to run down the field into the end zone to fire up the crowd.
