If this were the Ten of Troy, De'Von Flournoy would garner the No. 1 ranking.
That was true going into USC's 89-play scrimmage Monday, where the 6-foot, 185-pound receiver had three catches for 105 yards and a touchdown. To his credit, Flournoy came into camp prepared.
Adding 10-pounds of muscle during offseason conditioning, he has combined his speed with the ability to beat the jam off the line of scrimmage. And at this point, his quickness and instincts have made him the best yards after catch receiver on the team. That asset may pay dividends on specials during some point in his career.
