Eulls shakes things up in hometown
Four-star defensive end Kaleb Eulls will be the first to tell you that not much goes on in his hometown of Pickens, Miss.
But earlier this month he shook things up in the town of 1,325 people when he ended his recruitment and committed to Mississippi State.
"In our small town things like this don't happen very often or maybe not at all," Eulls said. "I feel like a young celebrity. I have had a great response from the Bulldog fans. Most of them have been saying welcome to the Bulldog family and how proud they are that I am going to be staying in the community."
The 6-foot-4, 255-pounder chose the Bulldogs over offers from Southern Miss, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Ole Miss.
Since the Yazoo County standout made his announcement on July 6, he has been trying to find out all he can about his future school.
"The response has been great, especially by Mississippi State itself," Eulls said. "I've talked with the coaches, some of the player and personal friends that I have down there. I've seen how they have been treated and seen how things are going. I think things are going great."
Eulls made a trip to the Starkville campus Friday night for the Big Dawgs Camp under the lights at Davis Wade Stadium but did not participate in drills. He was there in another capacity.
