For Jay Canty things are really picking up on the recruiting trail. The one time commitment to High Point has received a lot of attention since re-opening his recruitment following a coaching change. Now he is once again trying to make a decision, and recently he made a visit to Xavier to check things out.

On Monday Canty made his first visit to Xavier, a visit that went very well. "I really liked it. It was a real nice campus, and I really liked it from an academic standpoint. We talked about a lot. I asked a lot of questions about academics and how they can develop me as a student. Everything just seemed real nice."
