Auburn's OL getting more physical
Unproven. No depth. Weak link.
Andrew McCain has a message for all the doubters out there.
Auburn's offensive line is bigger, better and fired up over the new power offense installed by Gus Malzahn this spring.
"People are going to talk, let them talk," McCain said. "We're just going to try to come out in the fall and try to prove we're a good offensive line and we can help this team win ballgames.
"I want the fans to be excited about where this thing is going. It's really hard to tell at this point exactly what kind of year we'll have but that's not what we're worried about.
"We're worried about getting as good as we can get so we can come back out and play championship football and try to get Auburn back to where it was and where all these fans remember it being and where it should be."
McCain has experienced a rebirth of sorts under the new staff including offensive line coach Jeff Grimes. The senior worked with the first-team at right tackle all spring and is on track to start his first career game this fall.
