Nation's No. 3 WR sees all of Oklahoma
On Saturday Oklahoma played host to as large and illustrious collection of recruits as any in recent memory. While many of the players were making a return to Norman one player who was taking in everything for the first time was Hillside (Ill.) Proviso West four-star wide receiver Kyle Prater. The 6-foot-5, 192-pound prospect and his father made the 12-hour drive from their home to Norman on Friday.
So was the visit worth all the travelling?
"I had a good time down there, it was everything I was expecting," Prater said. "We got there around seven on Saturday morning. I felt like we got in and had enough time to see everything.
"They had us basically, go around the academic center, walk around the stadium and we saw all the floors around the stadium. We looked around, all the Heisman trophy winners and all the stuff that Oklahoma has to offer. It was all really nice."
