Four-star quarterback enjoys visit
Mississippi State has only offered two quarterbacks so far in the 2010 class and in back-to-back weeks both have attended their Saturday scrimmages.
Last weekend Nash Nance came to campus and this weekend four-star Barry Brunetti paid Starkville a visit.
"My visit was good," Brunetti said. "It was good to get a good look at how the offense is. It was good to get a good look up close and personal. I like how they have their quarterbacks back in the shotgun. It makes you seem like you are the general."
The 6-foot-0, 207-pounder from Memphis (Tenn.) University School liked the intensity and energy level he saw from the players during the scrimmage session.
"I really liked how intense it was and how the players were when they scored," Brunetti said. "That's a big plus because you don't want the players not into the practice and the practice be flat. I kind of like intense practices."
Brunetti has built a strong bond with Dan Mullen and Saturday was no exception as the first-year head coach laid down the welcome mat for the Rivals250 prospect.
