Collins has great respect for the game
Minneapolis - A sweaty and tired Sherron Collins walked off the Metrodome court on and made his way to KU's locker room on Saturday afternoon. Once inside, the 5-foot-11, 200-pound guard from Chicago, Ill., immediately headed for his locker. While many of his teammates grabbed a plastic container filled with a sandwich, chips and other goodies, Collins wanted nothing more than to take a moment to relax. While most of the questions directed towards the first-team All-Big 12 performer focused around basketball, Collins, near the end of the locker room session, found himself talking about the two tattoos that are inscribed on the inside of his left and right shoulder.
Collins, who scored 32-points and dished out eight assists against North Dakota State on Saturday afternoon, talked about the meaning behind the tattoos inscribed on his left and right shoulder.
