What does the future hold for KU?
As the doors to KU's locker room opened following its 71-64 loss to Baylor in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Tournament, most of the media waiting outside walked quietly though a hallway and eventually made their way to a locker occupied by Sherron Collins. Coming off a performance in which the first-team All-Big 12 performer connected on just 6-of-20 shots from the field and 4-of-12 shots from behind the arc, Collins spoke quietly, and with his head hanging low, about his performance against the Bears. Never looking up at the media standing in-front of him, Collins took responsibility for KU's heartbreaking loss to Baylor on Thursday.
Thursdays outing against Baylor was one of the more frustrating of Collins' career. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound guard from Chicago, Ill., was just 6-of-20 from the field and 4-of-12 from behind the arc. He scored a team-high 16-points, but also had a game-high five turnovers.
