Road woes continue for KU
Playing in just its second true road game of the year, Kansas knew it would have to put together an almost perfect performance if they had any hope of beating No. 8 ranked Michigan State. The Spartans, sporting an overall record of 12-2 heading into Saturdays 12:00 showdown against the Jayhawks, had won 26 straight games in the Breslin Center. Several hours later, the streak reached 27 straight games, as Michigan State downed Kansas, 75-62.
Collins, Aldrich lead the way for Kansas
Junior Sherron Collins and sophomore Cole Aldrich have been KU's top performers this season. Collins, the 5-foot-11, 200-pound guard leads the team in scoring (17.6), assists (5.1) and minutes played (33.9).
