Kansas gets back on track
Coming off several days of impressive practice sessions, Kansas (9-3; 0-0) got back on the winning track against Albany (8-5; 0-0) on Tuesday night, and did so in convincing fashion, 79-43. After a frustrating outing against Arizona one week ago, sophomore big man Cole Aldrich scored a game high 20 points and pulled down six rebounds against the Great Danes. Kansas will now turn its attention to the Tennessee Volunteers, who invade Allen Fieldhouse at 1:00 CST on Saturday.
In KU's 17 point loss at Arizona last Tuesday night, Aldrich was 2-of-4 from the field, 6-of-10 from the free-throw line, scored 10 points, grabbed four rebounds and committed four fouls. He was also responsible for two turnovers.
