Despite late start, Ennis enjoys visit
Huntsville defensive end Kirby Ennis joined many of his fellow Texas A&M commits, as well as a couple of top uncommitted prospects, on an official visit to College Station this past weekend.
Ennis actually spent less than the NCAA-allotted 48 hours he was allowed to spend on campus due to a Saturday morning test. However, he said it didn't matter as he had a great time anyway and also got the approval of the most important person in his life.
"It went real well," said the 6-foot-4, 240-pound defender. "Everything was really nice. My grandma had a chance to see everything and where I'll be living for the next four or five years. It definitely got her approval."
Ennis says he took part in a few football-related activities while on his visit.
