Richt and company visit Charles
The University of Georgia left their home state and headed south to the state of Florida. One of their top remaining targets in Orson Charles received a visit from Mark Richt, Mike Bobo, John Lilly, and Tony Ball on Sunday and they became the first school to visit the talented athlete.
"This was my in-home visit and everything is so new to me, so I did not know what to expect," said Charles. "Everything that has happened in the recruiting process has been new to me, so I had never heard about in-home visits, but I really think these are going to help me. I think they will important to me and my family."
His family spent close to three hours with four Bulldog coaches Sunday evening in Tampa (FL). With the Dawgs having four coaches there, many would expect them to outnumber the Charles family, but it was the other way around.
"I had my mom, my grandma, my auntie, my uncle, my mentor, and a lot of people here with me. They are part of this, they have questions, and they were all there with me tonight."
Everyone had their time to speak and it was actually in two sessions. Once the Georgia coaches arrived, they hung out and talked for a while before they ate dinner. After dinner, they spent more time learning about one another.
