A dream. A determination. A focus. A never accept no for an answer attitude.

That's what Rod Smith had when he showed up in Auburn the summer of 2004. And not much else.

But four and a half years later, Smith is set to start for the 35th time in his career when the Tigers take on No. 1 Alabama in Tuscaloosa this Saturday.

Smith's rise from anonymous walk-on to one of AU's top all-time receivers has been an inspiration. It's a story AU head coach Tommy Tuberville can certainly relate to.
