Vaz visits Corvallis
It's been quite some time since Cody Vaz made his commitment to Oregon State, but he's continued to keep the Beavers on his mind. The talented 6-foot-1, 200-pound quarterback from St. Mary's High School in Stockton, California has been following Oregon State's season on television, but watching games on the tube doesn't replace the real thing. So when his high school team recently had a Thursday game, he took the opportunity to come up to Corvallis to watch the Beavers live in action at home against Arizona State.
"My parents and I wanted to go see a game so that was the first (Beavers) game I've been to," Vaz said. "It was a lot of fun. We got there on Saturday morning and just went into Corvallis, and then got to the game at about five. We met with the head of the business department and after me and my parents talked to him, he showed us around."
