Trio of A&M defensive commits shine
This past weekend was the second full weekend of high school games across the state of Texas. As always, there were some big performances on offense, including sophomore running back Aaron Green of San Antonio Madison rushing for over 400 yards and nine touchdowns.
However, defensive players rarely make the newspapers or get the press of their offensive counterparts. Even though not as many people noticed, a trio of Texas A&M commits had big games this past weekend.
Schertz Clemens was coming off of a 27-0 shutout win of Eagle Pass when they took on San Antonio Southwest on Friday. Aggie linebacker commit Sean Porter paced the Buffalo defense in the 26-12 win.
"I played well," he said. 'I had eight tackles and a forced fumble. I also blocked a field goal."
