Thigpen bulked up, ready for expanded role
Indiana's search to replace James Hardy might not even have to begin on the wide receiver depth chat. The man for the job could already be on the field, lining up in the backfield.
Marcus Thigpen alone probably won't be able to replace all of Hardy's production, but he'll at least have a hand in doing so. This season, Thigpen still figures to be IU's main running back, but the coaching staff plans on using him some in the passing game to take advantage of his physical gifts and experience as a receiver.
