Turner shows off improvements at A&M camp
Houston Jones power forward Ray Turner has had a busy year. Last summer, while playing for the New Mexico Force, the former home-schooled Turner blew up on the AAU and camp circuit. After a junior season at Jones and a spring AAU season with the high-powered Franchise All-Stars, Turner is seeing his stock soar even higher.
This weekend the 6-foot-8, 220-pound Rivals.com three-star prospect headed to College Station for the Texas A&M Elite camp where continued to turn heads. Turner is a bruising forward that owns the glass and is a mystery that most big men couldn't solve on defense.
Turner hs scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Baylor, Marquette, Memphis, Oklahoma, Missouri, New Mexico, Pepperdine, Houston and Texas Southern. He is also hearing from Kansas, Arizona, TCU, Texas and Oklahoma State.
