Jarmon Fortson & Nigel Carr get early start
Florida State signed a huge recruiting class last February and in just a little over a week most of the signees will arrive and begin their lives as college football players. But for a few rookies, they are already getting acclimated to both college life and the demands of college football.
Three 2008 signees - Nigel Bradham, Vince Williams and Terrance Parks - got a huge early jump on the rest of the class by graduating from high school early and enrolling at FSU in January. The rest of the class is scheduled to report next weekend, but a couple players couldn't wait that long.
About two weeks ago, former Rivals100 athlete/wide receiver Jarmon Fortson arrived on campus and began working out with his new teammates. And this week, four-star linebacker Nigel Carr joined Fortson and is now working out with the team every day. Both arrived early because they expect to play early and often this season and wanted to get a head start.
