Stallings' Super 6 spark excitement for '08
This summer, Vanderbilt head coach Kevin Stallings heads into his ninth season at the helm of the Commodore hoops program. Change is a part of the game, with players graduating, leaving early for the NBA, or transferring to another program - and, of course, new recruits come in to replenish the ranks.
Stallings has successfully recruited and developed some of the best players in the SEC during his tenure, but replacing those players with others who are capable of maintaining or raising the level of play is an ongoing challenge - especially at Vanderbilt, where not every student athlete who can dunk a basketball can gain admittance to the school.
Here's a breakdown of the current roster, with a look at who Stallings loses, what raw materials he has returning, and the players he has added in the offseason.
