TigerBait.com He is the highest-rated defensive prospect in the State of Louisiana and considered the 18th-best overall player in the country. Pretty good combination. To complete the trifecta; he also says LSU is atop his list when it comes to collegiate choices. Mansfield defensive tackle Chris Davenport is a four-star prospect according to the latest Rivals.com rankings. Coming off of a monster junior season that saw him 120 tackles (20 for losses) and 18 sacks, Davenport has offers from nearly every major Division I collegiate program in the country. Davenport was not in attendance this past weekend at LSU's Junior Day because of a choir competition that he participated in; which the 6-3, 320-pound Davenport said he really enjoyed. "My (choir) team did great in our competition," Davenport said.
