The LSU recruiting Class of 2008 did not feature a single running back.
Les Miles and his staff hope to change that in the Class of 2009 and they got off to a quick start on Wednesday as they extended a scholarship offer to Leesville running back Michael Ford.

The 5-10, 198-pound Ford already has scholarship offers from Ole Miss, Florida State and Nick Saban and the University of Alabama.
