Size and speed the trend among new receivers
Indiana has already lost James Hardy to the NFL, and Andrew Means might follow suit and head for the MLB Draft if he has a good junior season playing baseball this spring.
Should that scenario play out, the Hoosiers still have a number of guys they can spread the ball around to. Ray Fisher will return for his junior season, and James Bailey will be back for his final year next fall. But with the exception of Terrance Turner, who stands at 6-3, 205 pounds, and maybe Bailey, who is 6-2, 205, IU could potentially give up a great deal of size if it were to lose both Hardy and Means.
Though, Bill Lynch and his coaching staff certainly filled that need in recruiting this off-season. Out of all of Indiana's incoming wideouts, none is shorter than 6 foot 1, with Tandon Doss and Tyler Adetona being the tallest at 6-3 each.
Lynch said at his signing day press conference that the height of his new receivers was an added bonus and not really something that the coaching staff specifically targeted.
