The Skinny: Tate is outstanding athlete and some consider him an even better baseball player than he is football. He played wide receiver and safety as a freshman and sophomore before taking over at quarterback this past fall. He grew as a QB and showed his arm strength, his ability to escape the rush and his athleticism helped him make something out of nothing when things broke down.
