Kinder, gentler bowl camp spurs on these Mountaineers

WVSports.com SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.-The temperature increased into the mid-50s yesterday afternoon, and the wind died down in the desert where WVU is practicing for its Fiesta Bowl game against 7 ½-point favorite Oklahoma on Wednesday night.
There was lightness in the air.
Friday was Day 12 in the race to take on the BCS-4th-ranked Sooners, and, with each passing hour, the nightmare of Dec. 16, when former coach Rich Rodriguez left for Michigan, seems to be fading, and this team continues to gird up for perhaps its biggest challenge since than those earlier years when West Virginia was meeting national power Miami.
