bordercolor="#800000" bordercolorlight="#FFFF00"> Player Name | Ht/Wt, 40 / hometown / class | Warchant prediction | Everette Brown | 6-4/255, 4.6 / Stantonsburg, NC / rs. soph | Staying in school | | Reasons to leave: Brown is one of the best athletes on the team and has dramatically improved his strength while reducing body fat. He has a quick burst off the line, has a good motor and has an excellent work ethic. If he left early he would test out well at the NFL Combine.Reasons to stay: Brown has all the tools to be an elite defensive end but hasn't shown enough consistently on the field yet. He leads the team with six sacks but with his natural ability and work ethic that number should be probably be double. If he can refine his game and become a complete defensive end, Brown has the potential to be a college All-American and a first or second rounder in the 2009 draft. Quote on whether he will be back: "I put in for the (NFL) Advisory Board just to get feedback and criticism so I know what to concentrate on throughout the offseason. I want to become a better player and have better knowledge of my position." Draft Projection: 4th to 6th round. | 2007 Statistics: | 35 tackles (11 for loss), six sacks and 3 pass break-ups. Started seven games. | Notable: | Brown did apply for a draft projection from the NFL Advisory Board. | Final verdict: | It is Brown's best interest to stay and from all indications he plans to stay in school for his senior season. |
