A big visit for Jackson with UGA
Georgia Recruiting Coordinator Rodney Garner took a trip down to Franklin (Ga.) Thursday afternoon and many papers were signed by UGA commitment Dontavius Jackson.
"Coach Garner came down and I filled out my application to Georgia, signed everything I needed to about my room, took care of all the NCAA Clearinghouse papers and signed a lot of different things," said Jackson.
"I did everything I could and it is official now - I am going to Georgia. All I have to do is sign my letter of intent and I will be able to do that on December 19 after I complete this semester. It feels great and I am excited."
The majority of the visit was taking care of business, but he and Coach Garner also had a nice conversation.
"We talked about some football, a little bit about Georgia and just me getting up there in January. It was cool to spend some time with him and get all of this taken care of."
