Jones impressed by Spartans win over Penn State
Michigan State's win against Penn State on Saturday has not only earned the Spartans a bowl bid and 20 more practices which are invaluable for player development, but it has also had a positive impact on potential recruits, including a talented athlete from the Keystone State.
Although he was not able to watch the game because his team was playing in the
Pennsylvania state playoffs Saturday afternoon, the performance of the Spartans was not overlooked by Harrisburg Bishop McDevitt star Mike Jones.
Rated the No. 36 cornerback in the country and the No. 27 overall recruit in Pennsylvania, Jones quickly found out the results of the Michigan State/Penn State game after he and his Harrisburg Bishop McDevitt teammates had their season come to an end in Saturday's playoff game.
