Sylvester Croom would like for his players to approach each and every game with the mindset that each game is a 'big game'. But that often proves to be a tough sell. "They're all big, but in different ways," said Croom. "When we play UAB, I'm about to throw up going into those games because as a coach, you think, 'Okay, it's going to be miserable if you don't win those games'."
"As a coach, those are the hardest games to get your teams ready for," added Croom. "You have to work hard. Games like this, if you have to motivate the team to play in a game like this, you've signed the wrong guys."
Following last week's open week, Croom and the Bulldogs (5-3, 2-3 Southeastern Conference) return to the practice fields today with an actual opponent awaiting them come Saturday.
