The Texas Longhorns hosted one of the top prospects in the 2008 class over the weekend. Aston (PA) guard Tyreke Evans made the trip to Austin to check out the Longhorns after previously visiting Louisville, Connecticut and Villanova. Evans made the trip accompanied by his brothers and everyone in the Evans family came away impressed. Tyreke's older brother Reggie, says Texas showed themselves well.

Evans has taken trips to Louisville, Connecticut and Villanova (a few times on campus) prior to Texas. The family has one trip remaining and that is when the Memphis Tigers get their chance to impress the No. 6 prospect in the 2008 class. Reggie Evans says they don't have a visit date planned yet.
