This week the 4-4 Bulldogs head to the Commonwealth of Kentucky to face the 6-2 Wildcats, as part of the 11:30 CST Lincoln Financial Sports telecast. The Wildcats are coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Florida Gators and will be looking to bounce back for their homecoming performance. Here is what you need to know
While The Bulldogs have the ball
There is little doubt that Mississippi State will lean on Anthony Dixon to carry the load as he has done all season. Currently, Dixon has scored 11 rushing touchdowns, more than anyone in the SEC, to go with 94 yards per contest on the ground. Kentucky is 11th in the SEC against the run and that creates a good match up for the Bulldogs since the name of the game will be ball control, playing keep away from Andre' Woodson.
