Plenty of schools in pursuit of Moss
Mickey Moss's South Garland program seems to churn out top Division I talent every year. The beat will go on in 2009 with at least one more blue-chip prospect already heating up on the recruiting scene, this time from Moss's own son, Austin Moss, a blue-chip linebacker prospect.
The 6-foot-3, 208-pound Austin has already picked up offers from Wisconsin and Kansas State, and he's receiving mail from countless schools around the country. A sampling of the suitors includes Oklahoma State, Iowa State, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Connecticut, SMU, Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi State, Houston, LSU, Florida, North Carolina, Louisville, Texas Tech, Kansas and Arkansas. Moss, ranked No. 15 on the latest Lone Star Recruiting list, is open to any and all programs at this early stage.
