Okoroha starting to think about visits
Greenbelt (Md.) Eleanor Roosevelt safety Okechuckwu Okoroha (6-foot-1, 198 pounds, 4.6 seconds) doesn't get offended when people butcher his name. He politely tells them to just call him 'O.'
Off the field, he is mild-mannered. On the field, however, Okoroha's play can simply be summed up as being violent.
Opposing players might not remember his name, but they remember his number and the unpleasant experience.
"Controlled aggression is the term I use. Every ball in my area is mine. If it is out of my range, I am going to make the receiver remember that he doesn't want to come back," said Okoroha.
Heading into his senior season, Okoroha said that recruiting would have to wait until his team was through playing.
While he continues to maintain that mindset, the four-star safety is beginning to think about the process.
