Gators add JUCO defensive lineman
The most glaring weakness on this year's version of Florida football has been the inability of the defensive tackles to mount any sort of pass rush whatsoever. In an attempt to remedy that situation for next year, Urban Meyer and staff have recruited and received a commitment from one of the top defensive tackles in the junior college ranks.
Getting pressure up the middle may be a problem of the past, now that 6-foot-1, 280-pound Troy Epps out of Coffeyville (Kan.) is on his way to Gainesville.
The three-star rated prospect also had offers from Wisconsin, Arizona, West Virginia and Tennessee among others.
He will take his one and only official visit in November when he trips to Gainesville for the match up with Florida State.
